The Latin America CAPE is hosted by Victoria University of Wellington as part of a consortium of New Zealand universities that also includes the University of Auckland, the University of Otago and the University of Waikato.

We also collaborate with:

  • Central government agencies, including New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Ministry of Education, Education New Zealand and the Ministry for Primary Industries
  • Regional economic development agencies and chambers of commerce

Project Proposal

The Latin America Centre of Asia-Pacific Excellence welcomes proposals for 2020 projects that align with our objectives and current programmes.

To apply, please complete the CAPEs expression of interest form found here and send it to by 5pm Friday August 16 2019. You will then be contacted for additional information if your idea is considered to have potential for further development.
