The NZ Inc Competing Abroad - Case Report Series delivers a market survey and six business case reports relevant to New Zealand companies aiming to grow their international revenues in Latin America. The reports provide analyses of real world challenges and dilemmas facing New Zealand firms seeking to grow their revenues in Latin America. They offer lessons, based on the experience of these firms and the characteristics of New Zealand products, for identifying and growing opportunities in these markets.

NZ Inc Competing Abroad - Case Report Series provides insights on particular dimensions of activity or experience, such as:

  • the identification and management of distributors
  • pre-entry market research and market conditions
  • relationships with investment partners
  • impact of the foreign market regulatory environment
  • relationships with the ‘NZ Inc’ ecosystem in New Zealand and abroad

The reports in this series were produced for the Latin America CAPE by researchers at the New Zealand Asia Institute (NZAI) at the University of Auckland led by Natasha Hamilton-Hart.
